Award-winning singer-guitarist-songwriter Ron Goldman performs music with
insight, energy, sensitivity, and humor. He has the versatility to use
many styles with equal persuasion and creates moods ranging from
introspection to celebration. Using electric or acoustic guitar, Ron
performs a wide variety of popular music through the decades from
such artists as Tony Bennett, Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, Frank
Sinatra, Everly Brothers, Ray Charles, Simon and Garfunkel,
Judy Garland, James Taylor, Bing Crosby, Billy Joel, Sammy Davis, Jr.,
Neil Diamond, Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, Bette Midler, Johnny Mathis,
Benny Goodman, John Denver, Barry Manilow, and many others.
music is from dozens of Broadway shows such as Oklahoma, Carousel, My
Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, West Side Story, Cabaret, and A Chorus
Line. He performs hundreds of songs and can customize a program to
match audience musical preferences.

Children's music is a specialty of
Ron's programs. He connects easily with children and enjoys involving them
in his music. Songs may be original and from traditional and contemporary
sources. (See sample Children's Music titles at the end of the song list.) Children are
encouraged to respond, participate, move, sing, dance, and play rhythm instruments. Humor and high
energy are regularly part of the musical experience. Ron has performed at
KinderCare, Bright Horizons, and other children's centers and
may be created for particular themes such as peace, love, and harmony.

Ron's original songs provide a
generous helping of intelligence and vitality. They include powerful,
personal themes and have won awards in local and national contests. His CD
album titled Bridge to the Unknown includes ten songs that are both
entertaining and carry a message. The music has elements of several styles
including pop, blues, jazz, and folk. The title song is a beautiful ballad
about the fear of intimacy. The album also features "New Age Junkie," a
satirical look at self-improvement, and "Chief Seattle's Message," a
moving, ecological warning based on Chief Seattle's speech in 1854. Ron's
music has been played on National Public Radio and WUMB in

residential communities, children centers, coffeehouses, private
